The third technology-infused lesson I incorporated was a collaboration with 2 other teachers across the state of South Dakota - one from Bonesteel/Fairfax and one from Mitchell. We read the book "Al Capone Does My Shirts" and my class participated in a blog with other members of each of the teachers' classes.
The fourth technology-infused lesson I incorporated was a wiki that I created to assist me in providing more opportunity for students to compare and contrast information on one topic from multiple informational texts. The students chose a topic they were interested in (we brainstormed many ideas) and they researched on the internet and chose 2 to 3 articles they thought were reliable and trustworthy to take notes on and find facts about their topic. The requirements are listed on the wiki as one of the pages. On the discussion page of each of their topics were questions asked by me, themselves, and other students. Also on the discussion page are their comparisons of two articles.
The first one is the Jeopardy game I created to review reading standards before the Dakota STEP test:
The second one is the multiple choice game I created through SMART Board technology that reviews the figurative speech concepts.
